ADSENSE and ADSENSE like programs

Whenever I setup a new blog, I am always tempted to place all my google ads, affiliate links, etc.,etc. just for a little passive income because I am very lazy. But I should tell you that I have never been successful with any of these.

But even then Adsense has not been a good money earner here while other programs like myhpf and mylot.com have helped me raise a good bucks. So even if I am not convinced to removing Google adsense ads from here(removing would be sheer foolishness!!), I am also looking at other ways of monetizing my blogs, other adsense-like programs are being experimented on my other blogs and I will be posting how they are doing and if fortunate enough to earn anything I might be adding that money to my piggy bank.

I am trying Bidvertiser on one of my blogs which is a humor blog but the ads on it are in no way related to humor or entertainment but rather they are more related to making money or surveys sites or sites like that. I don't know how much time Bidvertiser has been around in the business but they appear to be new as they don't have many advertisers but I heard that their CPC(cost per click) is decent.

Another adsense-like program is Adbrite which also a pay-per-click program and I should admit that the ads look cuter on my blog(not this one) than the Google adsense ads. The only drawback that I could find in their site is the zone setup process. Each time I created a new zone I had to fill the details of my blog again and again. Thats the only drawback I could find, nothing else.

As far as this blog goes it has only Google ads and some of my affiliate links. I am experimenting with the placements of the ads. Google allows only 3 blocks of ads each page according to their TOS so I am careful with that too.

If you know more adsense-like programs or a link to a relevant website then you are welcome to do so.I wish to know if you have tried them also. Also share your experiences with us.
