mysmsindia- This site is new on the scene and they boast of having a wide network in India. You just need to register your cell phone number for free and then enjoy SMSing. The site enables you to send a 110 characters message and there is no limit on the number of SMSes you can send. They have even got a bulk SMSing service for businesses for some fee. Its one of my favourite sites to send a text message to my friends.
India2Sms- This is a site which requires no registration of any kind at all. The site says that they don't want anything in return. Just send your SMSes continuously without any waiting time and there isn't any limit. Seems that they can go a long long way in their niche. Currently they allow 118 character SMS. Plus you get a full privacy and the latest addition to their services is the SMS block service. What is that? Find it on their site.
sms7 - Another of the SMS sites. There is a limit of 50 messages per account per day. They have a contact book. The site supports group messaging and more features.
mycantos-Another superb site which allows a 146 character message for free. Just need to register to start sending SMS.
160by2 - One of the few sites offering 160 character SMS. But there is a demerit. You use 80 for your message and they use 80 for their advertisements. Even though there is a catch, 160by2 is quite popular. You an send upto 50 messages per day per account.
way2sms - Another 160 character SMS allowing site. Good thing is that way2sms allows 110 character sms and uses 50 characters for ads. There is a feature of sending SMS through gprs enabled handset through their wap site.
AtroChatro - No registration required. Allows 2 SMSes per day per IP.
mginger-Another site where you can send an SMS. There is also an opportunity to earn some pocket money just for receiving promotional SMSes. There is a free membership and a premium membership. Obviously, Premium members will earn more than the free ones. There isn't any catch. Try it.
Bizhat sms- Allows 140 character SMS.
Sms Gupshup- Unlike other SMS sites, this site allows to send images too. Free registration required.
ibibo-A social networking site which is very popular in India. Did you know that you could even send an SMS directly from the website. Well you can send a 80 character SMS from the site. Be a member there for free and start SMSing.
All these sites are genuine and safe. If you people know then mention some of them through comments.
