How can you earn easily with Adsense?

I have been blogging around for almost one year and in the process have created and dumped many blogs. Why? Because they were not earning me a dime! When I first started to blog, I knew just one monetization method for blogs and that was Google Adsense. I created blogs on weebly and Blogspot and used Adsense in an attempt to make me some cash. Needless to say, Adsense never made me huge bucks! The highest money I ever got for a click was $0.45. Only Junkamania earns me some cash via Adsense. So, it motivates me to write some healthy posts here!
Now here are the reasons why Google Adsense does not make everyone big money:
  • Adsense does not make big money for everyone. The earnings you get via Adsense depends on the topic you are blogging on. Its usually called a niche topic.
  • Not everyone knows how to optimise their posts for earning via Adsense. Of course, there is a research to be done to find the best earning cum low competition keywords. It takes most of your time but can be done easily with the help of keyword trackers or keyword suggestion tools like.
  • Many of the ads earn you less than a cent. This is bad as you are losing a lot of money. This is because the advertiser paid small money for the keywords you are using in your posts or this is because you chose the worst earning niche.
  • Suggest a reason and get a backlink
Which are the worst earning popular niche topics?
  1. Gaming: Dunno why! Everyone love games and most buy them. God knows why Game creators and advertisers spend less on their Adwords campaign.
  2. Celebrity: Worst niche pays the worst.
  3. You suggest and get a backlink.
Which are the highest earning popular niche topics?
  1. Health: Health tops and bags many highest paying niche keywords.
  2. Finance:Whopping number of highest paying keywords belong to this niche.
  3. Make money niche: Pays well but not the highest
  4. Technology:Especially the tech gadget niche topic.
  5. Suggest and earn a backlink.
Now how to actually earn from Adsense?
Follow the following steps and cash Google checks every month or the worst one year, but guaranteed see money coming via Adsense.
  1. Rush to Hubpages and sign up.
  2. Do some research on what people are looking for. Use the keword tracker to find the best paying cum low competition keywords for the thing you wanna write on. You can sit down and write an article of abou 250 words on the either one of the 5 best paying popular niche topics.
  3. You can give your Adsense ID to Hubpages(You will understand all these when you sign up) so that they display your Google Ads along with your article.
  4. When someone clicks on your ads, HubPages keeps the 40% of the per click revenue generated and you get 60%, which is paid by Google.
  5. 1 article is not enough. Try and write at least one hub per day and take your hub toll to at least 50.
  6. 'WHATEVER IS SEEN, SELLS!' Keep this in your mind and make attractive as well as search engine friendly titles. Don't try to be too fancy! Even the simplest titles catch more attention!
  7. Whats the catch? No catches. You can make even more money from Ebay sales commission, Amazon sales commission as well as Konterra PPC commission, all from one little hub.
  8. You will surely get your first Adsense check within a month and worst will be an year!

But I want all the 100% of the revenue per click. What should I do?
Oh! So you want 100% revenue generated from Adsense, then do the following:
  1. Go to godaddy.com
  2. Register a domain name at godaddy.com. Register such a name that will better represent your product you are selling or a thing you wanna write(For example you wanna write on a particular gadget and you are going to dedicate your full site to it, then come with a domain name like particulargadget.com.) You need to pay for this, anything from $1 to $200, depending on the domain name.(While writing this article, I found out that Godaddy are selling (.info) domains names for 0.89 a year. Check it out!)
  3. Host your site at a free webhost like 000webhost.com for free!
  4. Write two to four articles revolving around the product you want to sell to earn comissions(Remeber that you are selling other's things)
  5. Search for the best paying cum low competition keywords for your articles suitable to the product you wanna sell. Like for example, I wanna sell someone's laptop on Ebay to earn commissions, then I will repeat 'buy a laptop' or 'cool laptop' more than twice in each of the four articles.
  6. Now you have to do all this by yourself-Get traffic! Without which you cannot earn.
  7. Submitting your articles at ezinearticles.com can get you organic visitors and potential buyers of the product you're gonna sell.
  8. Thus all revenue generated+ commissions got are all 100% yours!

If you don't want to buy a domain name, you can make such niche sites on Blogspot.com or Wordpress.com, which are totally free. Thus, everything for free and all your revenue to you. This can be called a 'Zero investment business'!
At Hubpages there are already a lots of visitors and hubbers, so that you don't have to get traffic. Hence I recommend Hubpages over making your own niche site.
But you have your own brain to think rationally. What do you say?

Guest Post-My Perspective about Making Money Online

Lynell Emmanuel Neri, 16 years old Philipino blogger puts his thoughts on making money online and wants all the Junkamania readers to express their thoughts on this.
Making money online –where else could someone go, with global crisis still releasing its smokes and continues to burn other people with its heating when it come contact with people despite of the extinguishers, with the staggering number of jobless individuals and still counting where even new graduates of various universities would boggled themselves where could they be dumped, lucky for those who would reach the garbage can, but most would not even end up in the soil but in the deep pit where they would met other with the same situation.
With the large number of people experiencing it, a something of the same kind, large, spacious, gigantic in nature, would be able to cater them. Indeed, it is the Internet. It is in the Internet where they are putting their last hopes to (including to God too). But vast as their hopes, Internet is roamed by alligators (figuratively) despite of the zoo keepers who tried to feed them up. Bound by the harsh experience, these alligators bite everything they can cling on. They are the one who have fallen in the pit, put hope in the Internet but, unfortunately, have fallen equal parts to how high they have hoped.
I am one of those alligators who is still figuring out the real way to get outta the pit and that will be possible when I make true money online. So far I have found myLot to be the best paid forum online and its a superb way to earn from tasks, discussion threads, replies, etc. Like Boney said, I have just signed up with Triond and gotta sit down to write an article for them. So that I don't remain an alligator in the pit anymore. The Junkamania blog is simply superb! Cheers!

Guest Post-My Love MyLot!

I have started a series of guest posts on my blog to update this blog's content for my readers regularly. You can get a recognition on this blog via a guest post. All you get from me is a backlink to your blog. This article is yours, so the referral links in this article are also yours. Enjoy! To guest post email me at boneysharaon@gmail.com

This is the second article of the Junkamania Guest Post Series. In this article, Heather Echola or GardenGerty from Mylot, age 56, McPherson, Kansas, USA has shared with the Junkamania readers, her myLot experience.
I was the kid in school who enjoyed reading the dictionary and encyclopedia. Knowing that about me, you can imagine the kind of heaven I am in when I have an internet connection. You may find me drifting from topic to topic with hardly a pause except to get a cup of coffee. I find that the internet is a source of socializing, earning and learning all wrapped up in one entity.

While exploring the internet, I have found some interesting earning sites, as well as information sites. The site I have been most active on is called MyLot. Since MyLot was my first earning site, it is also my first love. It is a social site, an information site and best of all it is paid to post. I have explored other earnings sites, but as I have said, MyLot is my first love. I have friends, I have earnings, I have opportunities to read the news, and blogs and post comments about them. The networking opportunities have been awesome, and I have also gained freelancing opportunities through the site. MyLot is one of my favorite aspects of the internet.

Heather Echola's tips to earn big on myLot:
"For those who want to earn at MyLot, my advice is to add friends. That was the first thing that helped me. I looked at discussions, and when someone in a discussion looked interesting to me, I requested their friendship. My first attempts at posting discussions were a bit lackluster, and people did not respond much, but that is alright. As long as your discussion gets one response, it earns. It is much easier, in my opinion, to begin by responding to discussions that are interesting. Remember to put quite a bit in anything you post, using about four to five lines of text. Read the terms of service and the guidelines. Have a question about how MyLot operates? Post a discussion about it, lots of people will be glad to help. Be kind, play nice, and try to make your discussions more than a one word answer discussion and you will make lots of friends and have fun earning. My personal goal is to do twenty five quality posts daily on average. If I do that I always make payout. Having tasks, like this one, to help earn more is a real benefit.(GardenGerty)"

The Advantage of not selling your articles

Hello Friends,
Many of you were stunned by my success story and wanted to know how I earned $88 in a week. I see this article writing as a business for a short term gains. But today I am going to tell you an advantage of not selling your articles according to my personal experience.
I had written a 500+ words article for a client and was expecting $3 for that hard work of mine. The article was on 'cigarette smoking' and it was titled as How to Treat smoking addiction. I was waiting for the time when that $3 would go in my Paypal and I give my client the article. Suddenly a message was sent by the client on Digital Point saying that he did not want the article any more. I was more than frustrated and I tried to sell it later directly on DP. The people there were asking the article for $1.50 and that amount was like I would be selling my soul. Frustrated that I was I kept the text file of my article on my hard drive.
Now, as I had posted before, Triond is a genuine site which pays on impressions and PPC for your articles published by them. They don't take away author's rights and hence the article will be 'mine' and I will be getting royalties all my life. So I decided to publish that article on Triond.
On 30th July, I submitted my article and within a few minutes, my article got published which normally Triond takes a day to publish.
My article did not make it to hot content, but I was amazed that my article was ranked 8th on the 31st July, 2009 on HealthMad blog, a Triond sister site. This is an achievement for me, as I was ranking among the best authors' works and as I got 80 hits on the article in a single day which no other articles could get. And as I said it was still 'mine' not Triond's.

I should be grateful to the client who rejected my article. Thanks Uncle! I will earn more than $3 on that article now. How? I already earned 12 cents from that article in a single day and the article is going to be on the site givng me lifetime royalties. Meaning the money the client was going to give me will be covered in a month, at least $3 a month single handedly from this article will be a great success. But still I won't stop writing for my clients as with a slow passive money, I need regular active quick bucks.
So think twice before you sell your articles written with total dedication and hard work to make quick money from home. Thanks and give me your views on it.

Guest Post-My Experience with paid to sites

I am starting a series of guest posts on my blog to update this blog's content for my readers regularly. You can get a recognition on this blog via a guest post. All you get from me is a backlink to your blog. This article is yours, so the referral links in this article are also yours. Enjoy! To guest post email me at boneysharaon@gmail.com

This is the first article of the Junkamania Guest Post Series. In this article, Oindrila Ghoshal, age 22, female ptc blogger, India has shared with the Junkamania readers, her experiences with some Paid To sites. Please leave a feedback for this article.

Oindrila has a blog PTC Bonanza

My experience with money making sites began 5 months ago when I was introduced to the world of online earnings by a friend's boyfriend! I had signed up on sites like nomincashout,neobux,bux-matrix,myprobux,buxify,palmbux and ozonebux at that time.Though neobux,palmbux,bux-matrix and buxify paid me after over two months of endless clicking, the other three scammed me of my money.Meanwhile I had joined other scams too like bux2earn,blast-bux and bux-pick,as we cannot be sure when a new ptc comes up whether it will be a scam or not.But my bad luck accompanied me here too and I lost money from my hard-earned clicks on these scams too.I was so to say, very interested in learning more about online earnings and would read blogs or do a google search to find out more money-making opportunities.
I found such sites as youmint and mGinger which pay to send advertiser messages to your phone. They are pretty worthless sites except for the fact that they allow you to send free sms messages to friends from your PC to their cellphones.
Then one day,as I was browsing mGinger I came across this banner promoting a site called Mylot.I thought of giving it a try and signed up.Then as I looked around the site and read the rules,I found that it was a paid to post site that pays you per post that you make, and also for completing simple tasks.
I would not be exaggerating if I said that this site changed my life forever. This community is so full of life that I simply cannot stay without logging in everyday.I post my own topics, respond to what others have to say, complete tasks and I am earning big for it!The money is definitely an icing on the cake.Since payout is only $10,it is very easy to reach.Being out here is a whole lot of fun plus I get a bunch of information about everything from this site.
It is from MyLot members that I came to know about Trekpay, another money-making site and at last I was saved from wasting my time and money on PTC sites.Trekpay pays weekly-Real cash and I reach payout every two weeks. That is a $5.50 per two weeks simply for viewing content!
I have decided to concentrate only on MyLot,Trekpay,Easyhits4u and HKBUZZ(a genuine PTC where I reach payout every week and get my money immediately after requesting payment).Easyhits4u pays 30 cents for every 1000 pages surfed and it has a 1:1 ratio, meaning for every site that you view, they send one visitor back to your site!It pays five levels deep and has a minimum payout of $3.I have also enrolled for a huge upcoming viral business opportunity which promises to change the way we earn! The site is in pre-launch now and I am looking forward to earning from it.One cannot sign up without a sponsor on this site so check this to sign up.
Hope all of you earn as much as I do.Good luck!

How I made $88 in the last week of July?

July 2009 has been the most exciting and the best month of my life. I never took this 'writing' thing seriously(because I have other career options too!), so always overlooked the potential of this industry and how to make money from home via this industry.
Digital Point Forums is a webmasters forum where all the webmasters big and small, discuss, share tips, tricks, etc. I had joined Digital Point, just because I was interested in the promotion of this little blog. So, I even tried to sell the ad space here, but nobody was interested at all(one reason being that Blogspot blogs have less credibility!) and all my time given to this blog went futile as there was Zero income!
Just when I was frequenting the buy, sell and trade section of DP, I came across a thread where a member was selling content for $2 for 250 words. I then thought that I should give something similar a shot and decided to do it the next day.
The next day I came up with an idea to promote both my blog and my writing too so I started a thread

I am selling 125x125 ad spots on my blog http://junkamania.blogspot.com for $5/mth. There are 6 spots available.
The header banner is also $5/mth. One spot.
Anyone interested? contact me at boneysharaon@gmail.com or PM me.
I am in need of money.
I can write an article of 300 words for you for $5 on any topic you ask(I will research a lot and come up with one very unique article).
If you want to place a text link in one of my posts, then contact me and place a bid via email...Bid starts at $5(This will be permanent)

Please contact soon.
You can have a look at my thread http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1422743

Obviously $5 did not work, and I had to consider something else.
So, I decided to write a better thread and try to give better than anyone else.
So, here was my new thread http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1424745
This thread started my writing career actually. I decided that I will let someone review my work and hence kept the price as low as $0.30 for 250 words for the review copy. Nevertheless to say, it gained a huge response and I sold my two review articles for $0.30 to two members, out of whom just one reviewed. It did not matter as within that day, I got 5 bulk orders and 7 single article orders. But sad to say, I am a human so I rejected most of them as I could not keep them waiting.
The first day I could only make 10 dollars.
The second day I made 5 dollars.
Then I made a new thread with my revised rates and offered a 250 words article for $1.80 and I received two articles to write and that was that. No more sales on that.
The next day I decided to create another thread, this time offering a 300 words article for $1.50 and there was a boom in sales. Here I earned my 51 dollars writing and spinning the articles. I spun an article for a client almost 20 times! I then used my signature to promote my thread and there are new orders everyday, which I could hardly manage, and so I decided to take less orders. Check the thread http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1433911.
This all happened for the last 8 days and my Paypal got $88 in just 8 days. I was happy but few questions came to my mind;
  1. Is the income passive?
  2. What happened to my sold articles?
  3. What will be in store for the long term?
  4. Will I be continuing this?
The answer to the first question is definitely a big NO!! The work to be done was so large scale, that I had to wake up till 3 am in the morning to complete the orders. All the $88 were the sweat of my brow and my hard work.
The answer to the second question is that after I handed over the articles to my clients, they were no longer mine. They were theirs. All my ideas and my content was not 'mine'. It was 'theirs'.
The answer to the third question is, As for now, I cannot see a bright future in this career as I can see the money coming, but only if I work continually. The industry offers lucrative money. So, in the short term you can make a lot of money, but no long term passive money is involved.

Will I be continuing this? Yes! I will be continuing this for the next few years till I make a good amount which I can invest in an online business or anything like that which can earn me some passive income at least $0.5 a day. This might look foolish, but when I take to write those articles, I have to research on the topic(15-20 minutes), write down the article(15-20) minutes and I get just $1.5 for writing 250 words and I have no rights over them. While, investing money on my blog and cashing on Adsense for at least $0.5 a day, will become $15 a month and $180 an year which is not a very big amount, but is passive money. In the long term we got to consider passive options(I am 20 and I want to retire by 40!)

Hope this helps to all who are still struggling to earn online. If you feel that you can write then go for it. Don't hesitate! The most wanted thing today without which no online business can stand is CONTENT! So GO FOR IT! I have seen many of them charge anywhere from $50 to $200/article, which is way too much than what I offered my services for. You can be one of them who can earn that much. Then for you that will be a good profession!

Email marketing-Is it worth the money invested in it???

Many of the web companies spend a hundreds of dollars on this cheap mode of marketing, i.e. Email marketing. They are mostly ad agencies who cunningly get email addresses of common web surfers through their websites often promising something very promising things.
But, as day by day, the common internet surfer has become very alert against spam, he/she has almost finished an era of this cheap marketing service.

Now why this once very popular type of marketing is turning into failure? One thing that has made that a failure is that many email providers restrict to affect their clients. To my observations many such emails go straight into the Junk or Spam folder, thus not convincing the clients to read those emails. Another reason to the failure of email marketing is the unwillingness of the people to read emails from unknown senders. Moreover stricter laws like a US law disallowing sending of more than 200 mails an hour or the sender may land in jail! Thus, those good old days are gone(you are in 2009!).

Bottomline is that DONT SPEND A DIME ON EMAIL MARKETING. Instead use services like Google Adwords to get targeted buyers and visitors.
Give me your 2 cents on this..

Get paid per click

I've just joined
  1. Chitika
  2. Adbrite
  3. Bidvertiser
  4. Infolinks
The first three are the most legitimate PPC ad networks and are the main alternatives to Google Adsense. Infolinks is a new one. Though I called them alternatives, that hardly means that they can not be used with Adsense. Yes! I can put all the 4 adverts on my blogs and hence generate more revenue. But putting all the codes on one blog might look ugly and many readers dislike this, thus increasing the blog's bounce rates. So, I have decided to test all the above adverts' performance on my newly created TechDynamite blog.
Now lets have an overview at what the above four have to offer;
  1. Chitika: Started in 2007, it now already has a network of 50,000 publishers and many loyal advertisers. Many publishers have experienced putting the Chitika code along with Adsense, generates more revenue and does not have effect on the number of clicks on G-ads. These guys have many ad layouts and I used their 468x60 eminimalls banner for my Techdynamite blog. They pay $10 via Paypal and $50 via check. They do have a referral program(the link to Chitika is not my affiliate link). I will keep you all updated with how Chitika perform on my blog.
  2. Adbrite: Adbrite is better for any blog and for those blogs who have a decent traffic, as they pay both for clicks and impressions(impressions only for banner ads). They pay $10 via Paypal and $50 via Check. The only thing that seems to be frustating is that most of the time they don't have relevant ads to show and while setting up zones on the site, each time you need to fill out the description forms for your site.
  3. Bidvertiser: This is similar to Google adsense and seem to have almost the same types of advertisements Google have to offer for their publishers. They pay $10 via Paypal which is not the case with Adsense or they pay $50 via Check. (Update 19 July, 2009: Today Bidvertiser emailed me saying that they have launched a new referral program which is very lucrative. You can now get commissions to sign up people under you. Here's a quote from the email
When a user signs as an advertiser and first spends $10, we'll credit your account with $5. When that same advertiser spends $50, you will be credited with an additional $20.

When a user signs as a publisher and first earns $10, we'll credit your account with $10. When that same publisher earns $50, you will be credited with an additional $40.
    )
  4. Infolinks: This new contextual advertisement service called Infolinks offers ads similar to Konterra. They claim to give away 70% of the advertising revenue back to publishers. The infolinks ads on my Techdynamite site are the ones with the texts double underlined.
There are many other such Adsense alternatives available like Digxa and Konterra, but its about the space that matters that they take on your sites. One solution to it is create multiple sites and try these income streams on them, again it is painful and costs you a lot of time.
I will keep you updated with how these monetization programs work for me and my blogs. So, it will be best if you subscribe to my RSS feed. That is how you will make money from home.

Ziddu
:
I mentioned Ziddu in a post last month. They pay $10 for 10000 downloads of the file you upload.

Around the web in 80 seconds!!!

Oh!Well, well, well!!!
I have finally got rid of that all white The last 84 template and have come to this really cool and my personal favorite ads-blogger theme. This template is a three column template with a header banner and 3 125x125 boxes(I am selling them...Anyone interested???). But I got all my widgets back here; the Related Posts Widget, the Sexy Bookmark widget and yeah, the comment form...The footer looks messy but yes, will fix it soon.
Now, I have decided to mention, atleast once a week, what has happened in the Blogosphere, what have my fellow bloggers posted and stuff like that.
Well, this week, Sarah came up with a list of some free music offering sites. I should say, three cheers! Atleast, now we can listen to something not crap for free! Good job, Sarah.
Yaro Starak on his enterpreneurs-journey.com blog came with a lesson how the niche 'Making money' is risky and what are its cons, and concluded that the bloggers should first make money and then teach others to make money.
Henry Blodget of businessinsider.com blogs that internet giant Google is gonna launch an OS attacking Microsoft and Apple inc.
Well thats all for today, will post something nice tomorrow. Stay tuned. Bye..

Top 15 highest paying adsense keywords to make you money from home

Hello my dear readers! I have been working very hard for this very blog now and results are showing well. I have 8 RSS readers now(too less) and 12 Twitter followers. So, for me traffic thing is happening and I am getting it from various streams. From my recent surfing and searching all over the internet, I have found out some best paying Adsense keywords which can help you to make money from home. I posted a list of 10 at DP forums and they simply liked it. Here I am giving a list of 15 highest paying Adsense keywords.
Enjoy the list..
  1. shop car insurance
  2. loan consolidation student loans
  3. online life assurance quotes
  4. accident no win no fee
  5. secured loans
  6. insurance auto
  7. get auto insurance online
  8. cheap life assurance quote

  10. claim for whiplash
  11. buy car insurance on line
  12. scottsdale dui lawyer

All these keywords have CPC higher than $50. That means you have got a chance to earn anything between $5-15 per click if you use these keywords wisely in your blog. Of course there is a fierce competition for these keywords...But hey!!!....if there is no competition, there is no fun. So, try these keywords to make maximum money from home through Google Adsense.

I have got many others on my hard drive, but I think of giving them in my first ebook. Hey! You don't have to worry. Its gonna be free. Remember??? I had also promised, I will give a list of 25 dofollow blogs with deep stats(PR, Alexa rank, etc.). I promise you that it will be worth reading. Plus, I am going to update you with my progress with it. So, to not miss that, PLEASE SUBSCRIBE TO THE FEED!! I will personally send you another list of 5 dofollow blogs if you subcribe to email updates with your verified email. The Junkamania adventure has just begun.
Cheers!!!

Give freebies to your readers

After writing a post on the importance of dofollow blog commenting in SEO, and checking forums and googling a lot, I have come to a conclusion that many of the webmasters are paying for dofollow blog lists. I even visited a thread in DP where a person(well settled in SEO business) was offering a list of 25 high pageranked dofollow blogs for a fee of 5 dollars.
That means that a dofollow blog list is in high demand for linkbuilding and the quest for a good pagerank.
Well, I have got an idea, which you can take as a tip, give freebies to your readers. Well, in the coming days I will be creating my first free ebook to thank all those who visit this new blog. It will contain a list of dofollow blogs with stats(pageranks and alexa and other stats) which you can then use for your linkbuilding campaign. Thats the way I can thank you all. Hope this little hardwork from my side will reap me some traffic.

How to make money from home by commenting on dofollow blogs

For the past few days, in order to boost the How to make money from home adventure, I have been studying Search Engine Optimisation and Link Building and many other things related to SEO.
One such thing related to SEO is 'dofollow' and 'nofollow'.
Actually these two terms are important when it comes to search engine rankings.
You must have read on many blogs that 'This blog is dofollow' or 'You DO I FOLLOW!' Now when they mean that their blogs are 'dofollow'? They actually mean that you, as a visitor and your blog can gain some link love from their blogs. In other words 'One way back linking'. One way back links are very important as far as Search Engine rankings are concerned and helps in traffic growth thus helping to make money from home.

How does your blog benefit from dofollow blogs?
Simple! The search engine spiders(robots) crawl each day for some new content on blogs and when they crawl such dofollow blogs(I assume them to be indexed well in the search engines), they crawl through the comments too. If the comments contain your blog links, then the bots obviously crawls through your links and thus you get some page rank juice from the dofollow blogs.

But, if it is gonna be one way linking, then why do such blogs do follow your blog?
The answer is that this encourages visitors like you to stop by and comment on the posts of those blogs. To avoid spamming they mostly enable Comment moderation.

Why do some of them use 'nofollow'?
Now as you know, many of the high page rank blogs offer to place text links in their blogs for some fee. These links are also called 'Paid links'. Google discourages selling text links. The reason for this is that bots of search engines like Google crawl through such links, thus helping them rank higher in search engines. Hence Google encourages the use of nofollow tags in the hyperlinking.

How to make your blog 'dofollow'?
For bloggers who use blogspot.com, to make your blog a dofollow blog you need to remove the nofollow attribute.
  • Go to your blogger Dashboard.
  • Under the Layout tab, go to Edit HTML
  • Check 'Expand widgets'
  • Search for the following code
    rel='nofollow'
  • Remove this code however times you search it in your template.
  • Save your template.
Now your blog is a 'dofollow' blog. I would recommend to enable Comment moderation so that your Comments don't get spammed by spammers.
Best of Luck for your Link Building mission and making money from home and don't forget to comment here. This blog is dofollow. You will get a link back from this blog if you do so.

How to make money from home by placing google ads under the post title and in the post footer

I have seen many websites where Google ads are placed somewhere down the site, into the footer or some isolated place in the sidebar or somewhere in the header and so on. Such sites have a low CTR(click through rate) and hence they don't earn the money that they deserve for their hard work.
The most visible areas of a site, mainly blogs are its contents or posts. So how will it be if the google ads are placed right beneath the title and above the content or in the post footer?- yes! These are the most visible places and many of them have experienced high click through rates after placing the ads in these positions and learnt an easy way of how to make money from home.
I have been playing with my template for the past few days and in the process learnt many things. Today I am going to share with you how to place your ads, may it be your Google ads or your Chitika ads or Adbrite or any other ads in such places which are more visible to your visitors.
This tutorial is going to teach you how to place your google ads right beneath your post title and above the contents of the post.

For this you need the following tools:
1)Computer(kidding!hehe!)
2)Online Code converter

Now do the following:
  1. Login to your Adsense account and go for ad setup, set up your ad according to your like, I recommend the large rectangle layout(336x280) for ads as it contains 4 links. I also recommend you to design the colors of the ad as it will match your template colors.
  2. Once your ad is setup and ready for use click to get the code for it.
  3. Use the code Converter tool at eblogtemplates to convert your code to XML format which can be easily parsed by Blogger templates. The reason is that the code generated by Google adsense is in the Javascript format.
Now backup your existing template by clicking on 'Download Full Template' since if you mess with it you can revert to it any time later.

Now in your "Edit HTML' under 'Layout', check 'expand widgets'.
The next thing you will do is search for the following code in your template. You can use CTRL+F.

<div class='post-header-line-1'/>

beneath this line paste your converted code you got from the Code Converter.
Now save the template and check your blog.

After I did the above I saw the following on my blog.

You can see the ads between the title and the post content.

Now because according to Adsense TOS, you can place only 3 google ad codes on your blog, only 3 of your posts will be having the ads on your homepage, the rest of the posts will show a white space between the title and the content. But as mostly, the search engines send your visitors to your internal pages, so I don't think there's going to be a problem. Remember you can place 3 ad links too on your blog along with the 3 ad boxes.

Another visible place where you can get more clicks for your google ads is between the post content and the comment form or the comments, in other words, at the end of your articles or in more simple words 'the post footer'.

This can be achieved by the same method above. You just need to find the following code in your template.

<div class='post-footer'/>

And then paste the google ad code you converted by the Code Converter right beneath this code.
Your ad will appear beneath the post content but above the Comments.

My suggestion is that to maximise your earnings and to cope up with the Google adsense limit of 3 ad boxes, you can place Chitika or Adbrite advertisements(or any other ad code which can be simultaneously placed with Adsense ads) in the post footer.

Feel free to ask questions and I will also appreciate feedback from you my dear readers.
Hope you learnt another way of how to make money from home.

How to make money from home-An Experiment in SEO

Your site is ranked on top search engines according to the volume of keywords repeated on your site. If you stuff those keywords between 15-20% of your total content there is a high chance of ranking higher for those keywords.
I read someone mentioning this and thought how can it help this site. As you all know that I am competing for the keywords 'how to make money from home' and from the above screenshot you can see that there are already 171,000,000 competitors for this keyword, more than those competing for 'how to make money online'. Now to rank higher for this keyword, I need to stuff up my posts(in other words 'optimize') with this keyword, stuff it up with my titles and so on, which is surely going to trouble my reader's experiences but will increase my rankings on Google. 15-20% is surely going to kill my reader's experience. But I think that repeating the keywords just twice in a post can also help my search engine rankings. So, I won't fill 20% of my posts with the words 'how to make money from home', but will repeat it just twice in every post. Surely, it will be an experiment to check whether such efforts can take this site to the first page or not.

When I searched for this keyword on Google, I could not find any of the sites, at least on the first page , containing the keyword on their sites. So from now on my every post will contain this phrase-'how to make money from home' for which I have a good chance. What do you say?

Get paid to post at Postparker and Ezihippo

Today I was searching for more income streams for boosting my earnings, where I came across some paying sites.
The first one which I am going to introduce to you is Postparker which is a simple paid to post forum still in its initial stages. The admin of the forum promises to pay 1 to 7 cents per post according to the quality of the postings you make to the discussions. Postparker is a sure competitor to Mylot in earnings but lacks entertainment quality which only Mylot can offer. The payment is done through paypal with the payout being $10. They are going to pay through Moneybookers soon. The best thing about Postparker is the referral system, where 30% of your referral earnings are paid to you. That means if your referral reaches his payout of $10, you get $3 in your account...passive income! The forum is new and has only an odd 2500 members right now, so chances are that you may get many referrals from now on, supplementing your income.
The banner below is my referral banner and clicking it will sign you up under me. So, if you want to help Junkamania, then please join by clicking the banner.

Another site which is a social networking site and seems to be a competitor to MyLot is Ezihippo, which pays to you to actively participate in their discussions, uploading pictures, rating pictures, etc. It is by some people rated better than MyLot due to their even better entertainment quality and better payments. I am a member there but not an active one, so I don't yet think of promoting it unless I am part of it. You can check the site http://ezihippo.com.

June summary of Junkamania

It is the begining of a new month and its sad to tell you that June was a bit slow and this blog was not updated like it should have been. For that thing I do apologize and look forward to do regular updates from now on.
The past month was a special month for me as well as my blog.
For this blog:
1)Quality posts.
2)Two authorities from Technorati
3)A guest post to a friend's blog with a backlink to this blog
4)Technorati ranking jump by 3,00,000 spaces(still can't believe it!)
For me:
1)Got my B.Sc. degree in Mahematics(not related to this blog!hehe!)
2)Gave a shot to writing at Triond and Bukisa.
3)More sources of income found for this blog.
There were some bad things though like the contest started a few days ago did not have a success so I had to remove the widget. That might be because of the following reasons:
1)Site is indexed but not ranked.
2)There was no prize money.

Though this post should have been more of my income summary, I however cannot post any progress in my income from this blog, but should tell you that earned anywhere around $2.00 which is not a good amount I know!
However looking forward for your participation and support.
Cheers!

Passive mode of income at its best

Whenever you blog about something and you update regularly, you digg your articles, stumble upon them, reddit them, etc. and then if you have a good following, chances are that you make good amount of money through adsense or similar programs. But suppose, once you stop updating and your blog eventually dies, then your readers will stop visiting your blog, your search engine rankings will fall and no money then.
A few days ago, I declared that I will take a shot at writing career to exploit the possibilities and I should say that my Triond adventure is going well but the Bukisa adventure doesn't seems to be getting going. Under one week Triond accepted my 3 articles and have earned 15 cents for 90 pageviews across all three articles...not bad money...adsense does not work for me on this blog, but Triond is starting to show hopes. And there will be no end to it because Triond is gonna pay me lifetime royalties for my articles. You can check all my articles in the Triond widget which I have installed in my sidebar. Bukisa hasn't yet accepted my first article, so there isn't any progress there.
So, the new passive mode of income is at its best for me. You too can start your Triond adventure today and make passive money for little hardwork.

Get a free easy laptop at EZlaptop!

Friends!Friends!Friends!
Want a laptop for free? Really? Good...No way! There isn't anything for free in this world and to get a Sony Vaio, well forget about it, you won't even get its case for free.
Well don't even check out this rubbish site, ezlaptop(dot)com. These guys were in business in 2005 and scammed more than 80000 victims! Now they are back in business!
(Source:http://www.scamvictimsunited.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=926)
They claim to give credits for reading their useless newsletter and for referring others. The credits convert to notebooks, 195 for the Vaio. Bet you won't even reach closer to 100.
Another site offering(????) free notebooks is notebooks4free(dot)com. They offer you with varied options like Vaio, Macbook Pro and a Dell Studio XPS. Sounds another scam, what do you think? Act now! Don't even go there...lol!

Now there's a good news for this blog. The blog has jumped 3,00,000 places at Technorati and has two authorities, thanks to an opportunity at http://missvirtualreality.net given by Sarah, my friend, a Problogger. The blog is now ranking 1,167,104 as against the 4,828,661 on June 20th, hardly 7 days. Its a big achievement for this blog. Look at the screenshot. Seeing is believing!!!

Increase your blog's authority at Technorati!

Get authority on Technorati.
Technorati announced a new status last year called Authority to replace the each blog’s incoming link figures. Technorati Authority is the number of blogs linking to your website for the last 6 months.
This blog is not even one month old, but I am preparing from now on to get authorities. Currently, I have one reaction for my blog.
Now what is a reaction? Basically, it is the superset of an authority. Reactions are number of backlinks(they can be more than one from a single blog), but authority is counted once for a blog.
Is anyone interested to increase their number of Authority on Technorati? If so, then join the movement on JUNKAMANIA™ and watch your blog grow with us.
Simple rules:
  1. Copy the original list into a blog post of yours.
  2. Add your link to the bottom of the list.
  3. Comment HERE so that we can update the list with your link.
  4. The sooner you join, the more backlinks you will recieve.
(Copy Here - Technorati Authority–)

  2. Nokia 5130 Xpressmusic
  3. Free blog directory-get reviewed
  4. YOUR LINK HERE

Don’t forget to promote this article via social networking and word of mouth.. It only means better results for yourself and everyone on the list.

(–End Copy - Get Pasting –)

Even though Technorati shows Authority status after 6 months, or you cant wait that much time, then read this; backlinks are also important for Search Engine Optimisation and eventually for the pagerank. So join this campaign today itself and see your blog rising.

Finally I got a backlink for this site!

Today I checked my blog's Technorati progress and found rank of Junkamania to be 4,828,661. I have got one backlink for my homepage and I am looking forward for more...
So if you like any of my posts feel free to backlink. I may return the favour to you if I find your posts interesting. You can also add this blog to your Technorati faves and I will surely return you the favour...Just comment here after you add me.
In the meanwhile, I checked my earnings for the article posted at triond.com and found that I have accrued $0.02 for 11 unique views in 2 days. As far as Bukisa is concerned, my article is yet to be published in their network... So I am looking forward to it.
Today, in the hope of promoting my blog, I joined Twitter. So, if you would like to follow me on Twitter, there is a banner above so that you can.
Now you can also chat with me whenever I am signed on Google by just clicking the banner in my sidebar under the title 'Chat with Junkamaniac'.

Lets try Bukisa and Triond!

These days I don't know why but I am very much motivated to blog. I have realised that researching a topic and blogging on it can be fun. Many of my blogger friends have suggested to start freelance writing and one of them has even posted a nice post about freelance writing. To exploit the possibilities of this career, I have decided to give it a shot. That is why I have signed up with sites like Bukisa and Triond. I have already written a post on triond.com here, but many still doubt its credibility. So, I am thinking about writing my progress with them on this blog every now and then.
The site called Bukisa which also comes with its referral system is worth a try. They allow contents already published to be published in their system only if it is your original content. But, I would prefer writing something new than cutting and pasting. Remember, its in its beta stage. Unlike triond.com, which has many sister blogs(eg. writinghood, authspot, etc), Bukisa publishes all its contents on one site only. As far as their referral system is concerned, I could earn more at your expense if you signed up under me, but I won't do that, because I believe that you should get your hardwork's full worth. You can sign up at www.bukisa.com and start publishing your content on their site an start earning.

Free Image Upload

Mnay bloggers, be they on any platform, always are worried of image hosting and stuff like that.
But the nice thing is that you can do free image upload and host images for free. Today I am going to discuss with you a method to how to upload images for free here on Blogger which can be used anywhere on the web, meaning even on your wordpress hosted blog(hehe!). Blogger has its very own image hosting service Picasa Web Albums which you might be knowing. Whenever you upload images here on Blogger, they are actually saved in Picasa Web Albums.
Now the funny thing is that you can use it anywhere.
How to upload images for free? You can do it in following steps:

1)Go to 'Create' under 'Posting' tab in Blogger
2)As you can see in the image below, you can upload images to Blogger with the help of the 'Add Image' graphic button.

3)Browse for the files you want to upload by hitting the 'Browse' button and then click the 'UPLOAD IMAGE' orange button.

4)After that your images are added to Blogger...Beneath you can clearly see powered by Picasa Web Albums.

5)After your image is uploaded you can go to the preview mode and then mouse over the image preview and right click to go to 'Copy Image Location' and click it.

6)Then you are done. For your convenience, you can copy the link and save it in a text editor like Notepad for future references. You can either save this post as draft or delete it forever, the images upload don't get deleted till you decide to delete them from your Picasa account.

The header you can see on this site JUNKAMANIA was uploaded by this same method on Blogger itself!

Now you don't need to create an account at photobucket.com or imageshack.us. Blogger is superb and at its best too. Give it a try. You can save images for free.
While going, I am going to share an SEO tip with you related to images... Always rename the images you use to upload to your posts with the keywords to the related post topic. For Example, the images uploaded to this post have names like free image upload.jpg, etc.
Let me hear from you guys about this.

How to make money from home?

A question that seems to be eating your mind is How to make money from home?Well I am just going to direct you in your mission to pay your bills. Yes, this article is going to show you how to make money from home?
There are basically two ways according to me to make money at home. Those are Online ways, for this you require a computer and an internet connection. The second way is to fetch your local newspaper and find a 'work from home' job in the classifieds section and try your luck. Neither of them is easy. Both have their own pros and cons. But the most risky are the Online jobs, where you may be working for a company which is on the other side of the hemisphere, which may or may not be a scam.

The truth is that the hopes and dreams of the honest hard working people making a better life for themselves trying to work at home, have fallen victim to these work from home opportunities online. From a source, it is found that 30% of the average middle class are spending about $275 per year on work at home scams.

But, hey listen, not all the online sites are scams. There are lotta genuine sites also. To earn from home, from your computer, online, there are many ways to do it.

MAKE MONEY FROM HOME BY BLOGGING:

The first and foremost and the easiest thing you could do is set up your blog. Search Engine love blogs . Choose a topic(niche) for your blog and post daily. After making enough posts submit it to blog directories like blogadda.com, blogtoplist.com. Blogging is a very powerful tool. Now, what is a blog? It is short for weblog. And you are currently reading an article from a blog, yes this is a blog. You could make one for you.

There are many free blogging platforms you can decide to choose from like blogger, wordpress, typad, joomla, etc. blogger.com is by far the best because it can be customised very easily.Just follow these steps to make for yourself a free blog:

  1. Go to http://blogger.com
  2. If you already have a google account, no need to sign up, Just Click the 'CREATE A FREE BLOG' option. If you don't have a google account already, then create one. Its free of cost.
  3. Follow the instructions, its easy.
  4. Post on your blog.
Now, the main question is, what are you going to post? Well, you thought it was easy? Man, you can write anything you want in your blog, its yours.
Now, how will you earn from it???

Many methods to earn from your blog are available. They are:-
  • Placing CPM(COST PER MILLION) and PPC(PAY PER CLICK) ADS on your site:This process is easier than creating a blog. There are many publisher companies which serve advertisements to your site. Google Adsense has the biggest network of advertisers and the ads placed on your blog will be according to your content. Go to http://adsense.google.com and register for your adsense account. Now, you get an email confirmation within 2 days. Here you need patience. Now, the main question arising in your mind is, what if I don't get a confirmation? No worries. You get confirmed. You just need to wait. Once you are confirmed, login with your adsense account, create a new ad, generate the code and place it in your blog(All that information, you can get in Adsense help. If any problem, comment and I'll answer) and then cash checks on monthly basis. The minimum payout is $100. It first takes time to reach that much, but once you reach there, its like clockwork.
Other such programs to make money from home from your blog are
  1. http://adbrite.com
  2. http://bidvertiser.com
, both are genuine sites and both pay their members.

One thing you should always keep in mind is to read the Terms of Service of such sites, so that nothing goes wrong. Like for example, you get a life ban on Google Adsense if you click on your own ads.

  • Sell Ad Space on your blog :If you start getting say about a 1000 visitors per month to your blog, you can even start selling ad spaces on your blog, so passive income at its best. You can sell your ad spaces on money making forums. One of my favourite which I use for my blogs is Digitalpoint. There are many people over there ready to market their products for reasonable price. So, if you could sell spaces at a reasonable price, then you will surely have a deal and can add a few bucks to your kitty every month.
  • Sponsored Reviews:There are several companies which needs review for their product and they pay well, up to $5 per review. But for this you need to wait a minimum three months with atleast 30 posts for some pay per post sites. Some good pay per post sites are payperpost.com, reviewme, blogvertise, etc.
  • Affiliate Marketing:Hordes of internet marketers are spending and investing in the Affiliate Marketing. This is the big industry where millions of internet marketers are promoting affiliate programs. Affiliate Programs consists pay per lead, pay per click, pay per impression and pay per sale offers which we have to promote. There are thousands of Affiliate Network which pays good amount per sale. I have listed some of my favourite affiliate programs here(). They are the best earners and they can sometimes earn you more than what Adsense has to offer.Any affiliate program can earn you a lot of money. It's about finding programs that fit YOUR niche, i.e. finding programs that fit your blog topic.
  • Sell your blog-The last thing you could do to make money from home :I know its painful and irritating to sell your blog, your baby after it comes very close to your heart. But, you can make a huge amount of money from it in a short amount of time. This is the last thing to do to attain your goals. You can sell your blog site on popular online forums like Digital Point. There are many of potential buyers active over there. Your site's value can be set by some factors like the amount of revenue generated by your site per month, the quality of your site, your niche topic, etc.. You can do the reverse too, i.e. you can buy someone else's site on the same factors mentioned above.
Money making from blogging is not difficult. It just needs common sense, consistency, content and confidence and above all, patience. Because, it is a long an continual process. Its not a 'Get Rich Quick' scheme. It surely needs hard work and it can be fun at times. So, enjoy blogging if you have started already.

MAKE MONEY FROM HOME WITHOUT A WEBSITE:

Now, the point is that, it is not necessary to have a blog always to earn online. And to blog you need the the 4 C's I mentioned above (common sense, consistency, content and confidence). and it is certainly not in the interest of lazybones(like me you'll say! hehe!). So, I am going to show you HOW TO MAKE MONEY FROM HOME without a blog.
  • Join the following social Networking sites that pay:
1. MYLOT.COM. Click Here for the review of the site.
2. YUWIE.COM - Pays to post and upload pictures.
3. YOUTAZ.COM-pays to write and post videos.
  • Join PTC(Paid To Click) sites :These are sites which pay their members when they click certain amount of advertisements and visit the webpage for certain amount of time. Some pay referral income, which is a good money earner. You can even buy referrals who will click ads under you and earn you money while earning for themselves. You can find many PTCs by searching. Beware, most of them are scams.
  • Join paid to read email sites :These sites pay upto 2 cents to read emails delivered to your mailbox. You select the topics of which emails you want to read. The most popular one internationally is donkeymails.com. For Indians, rupeemail.com really pays.
  • Join paid to perform tasks sites:There are many get paid to sites which pay to sign up, pay to shop online, some pay to test products, some to drive a car, some to take snaps, some pay to read text messages on your cell phone and many other things to do. Some sites known worldwide are gptreasure.com

Ciao.com is the best online survey site which pays its members handsomely. The UK site of Ciao Surveys even pays some amount for writing product reviews.

  • Sell Products : You can create your digital products and sell them on the internet via forums like Site point and Digital point. For example you can create an informative e-book and sell it online to earn big bucks. You can even make money by selling your things on sites like Ebay.com. You can sell your stuff such as books, old collectibles, DVD’s, etc. You can also try other sites that help facilitate selling books such as BookHolders.
  • Freelance Writing: Sarah does a lot of freelance writing. You can read her article on freelance writing here Tips for starting a freelance career. As Sarah also suggested that there are sites looking for bloggers and writers. Some of them are digitalpoint.com, problogger.com and more. You can get more info on her blog.
